A holiday in Cornwall doesn’t just mean Surfing! – Check out our inspirational ‘Adventure Butler’ experience-packages!

This month saw over 500 luxury cottages, B&B’s and boutique hotels across Cornwall offer our new‘Adventure Butler Service’. Perfect for groups with disparate desires, the service sets up cliff walks with geologists, church tours with enthusiastic ecclesiasts and stately home visits with local historians: all from a menu of over 90 inspired experiences. Beyond the activities typical of a beach-break (which do, of course, appear on the menu), you can enjoy a meditational retreat, food foraging, or even a week long art course with a famous local artist.

Our CEO Rob Pendleton explains: “Cornwall is about so much more than the bucket and spade. It is about great people who love the county and want to share it with others. It’s about us giving visitors something special to take home: a new skill, a fun memory or just that relaxed vibe the Cornish exude. Our partners are passionate about Cornwall, what they do, and our butlers have the knowledge and contacts to make creating a great trip easy.”

Example partners include Lau-ra Churchill, who offers meditational retreats both from her base in Hayle and out in the wonderful natural environment. Fine Artist, Tamsin Dearing, who joins guests at their cottage to teach graphite pencil portraiture. Bart Nicolaas Engelbertus, author of ‘7 step guide for resilience’, who delivers high impact stress relief and personal development courses and famous local artist Ashley Hanson, who delivers residential and day classes for people looking to master his eponymous ‘Colour and Coast’ style.

Thankfully for those who have only just heard about the service, it isn’t too late. Guests can enjoy the benefit of an Adventure Butler wherever they stay. We will contact and invite accommodation providers into the network on our guests behalf. Half day activity sessions, including those mentioned above, start from £30-50 in a small group, and a little more for private tuition & guiding. The art-retreat with Ashley Hanson (24-28 Sep) costs from just £395pp – including materials, lunches and 5 full-days of on-location scene capture, studio time and intensive technical lessons.
