With its beautiful 5* villas located on white sandy beaches between calm coral seas and pristine primary jungle Peninsular Malaysia is a place that really knows how to do luxury adventures. Grab your khakis and swing through the trees with the monkeys, before cooling off with a snorkel over bright and bountiful reefs.

Where to stay…

It offers a fantastic range of activities to stimulate body, mind and spirit, and serves the very pinnacle of Malaysian fine cuisine.

Some practical information worth knowing…

  • Travel: Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan are around 1h away by car and have well-connected regional airports.
  • Weather: it is warm and humid all year round, with short daily showers in the cooler season, Nov-Feb
  • Warning: Taman Negara is a remote jungle – the canopy walk and waterfalls are fantastic, but getting there can be tough.

The East Coast of Malaysia feels light years away from the bustle of daily life, but you don’t feel isolated in a tourist bubble, you are part of a living and breathing community. A short walk down the exclusive beach or a trip to the jungle, river or islands will bring you into the lives of friendly locals, who are happy to share their arts, beliefs, traditions and exciting foods.
