  • Travel: Ulaan Bataar airport is just over 1h away by car. Eznis Airways flights to Dalanzadgad take 1.5h, running 4 times per week. A 4×4 journey into the Gobi takes 1.5h from there.
  • Weather: this is a land of extremes, from below freezing Nov-Mar to pleasantly warm in Jun-Aug. Very little rain all year.
