What it feels like to be there…

Argentina is a rugged place, full of dramatic, exciting scenery, fascinating wildlife and welcoming locals. It is also a land of great variety: from the icebergs and glaciers in the frozen south, through the volcanoes and lakes of the centre, to the Gaucho plains and wine lands of the north. Adventures can be found at almost every turn.

Some practical information worth knowing…

Buenos Aires is the major airport hub for international flights, but other South American capitals are useful staging posts. Direct flights from Spain also head to several major cities. Local flight services are good, as are long-distance bus journeys if you have more time. A sturdy wind-proof is essential for days out in the amazing wilderness.
