Some practical information worth knowing…

Amman and Aqaba are the two main air hubs for Jordan, and the country’s excellent main roads make overland travel a breeze, but you will need a 4×4 to get off the beaten track. The usual Arabic long-sleeved, light clothes are best for the heat and desert dust.
