    Expert advice request: Adventure Travel Magazine just asked us for an expert’s guide to Snow-shoeing for an article they are planning to publish. Is anyone from our community able to help? Maybe 5 top tips or the 5 steps to perfect technique? Let me know if you can help. Thanks.

    • Hi Rob, good timing, I just logged in and see you ask a question in one of my favourite sports. I dont say I am the world best expert but I have done it for years.

      5 Steps to perfect snow-shoeing is perhaps too many for the beginner – it is beautifully simple to try.
      Step 1 – Strap them on.

    This sport is really good for escaping into places where the powder is too deep for most skiiers. I suggest take a picnic and find a lovely place to hide in the trees but with a good view and enjoy the most peaceful meal of your life.
