Good work. I may have to seek your advice one of these days Gianni.

Yes – well done. Nice to see your AT50 Lapland Cabins trip getting good press. Certainly one of my favourites.

A truly commendable selection of Northern European holidays in this section. I have been toying with the idea of bringing my family here for a while now, and these trips definitely exceed any others I have come across in my research. I am absolutely certain that we would leave with a wealth of new and exciting memories of adventures, from some…[Read more]

The first boutique hotel in Iceland? Another accolade I would be very happy to add to the list. A luxurious city location with a surprising number of activities still – a cultural trip in the morning and a volcano trek in the afternoon, with a hot-spring dip in the evening: perfection. Again, a perfect fit for my family who are an admittedly h…[Read more]

If I am going to go to Iceland (and I probably am) I would definitely like to say that I have stayed at its best resort. This sounds like a great place for my family to stay, again, perfectly positioned for all the top adventures and activities, in a beautifully luxurious cabin.

The description on the page perfectly describes the holiday I have been looking for to take with my family. The group’s age range is from 4 to late 50’s with athletic abilities to match, and there are a plethora of adventure activity options for us all to enjoy

I tried unsuccessfully to whale-watch in California some time ago so I would love the opportunity to try again with my grandson. I will make my next attempt in South Iceland!

I must say that the possibility of whale-watching here is a big draw but every activity listed would suit at least one if not all of my family which is often very difficult to find. The two hotels offered are close enough to do both in one trip, but far apart enough to provide refreshingly different experiences. The ultimate blend of adventure and…[Read more]

I am rather seduced by the idea of snow-mobile riding, as a good way to explore your surroundings and get a shot of adrenaline. I imagine I would leave the more ‘extreme’ side to my son-in-law, but I think we would enjoy it equally.

I decided long ago that I needed to see the Aurora Borealis to believe it really exists. Being a man of science, I know the lights are the result of colliding particles and atoms, yet as a fan of the Phillip Pullman trilogy (and a curious human being), I can’t help but wonder if there is something more behind it. It is certainly my top natural w…[Read more]

I have a good deal of experience hiking in Britain, and I be interested to see how I fare trekking a glacier, it looks like a great adventure in the video. The crisp air and the scenery would keep me going, South Iceland would be my first choice.
