Try the Ultimate Holiday ‘Eggs-perience’ this Easter

We have created a new South American all-Inclusive package for anyone looking to book a last-minute Easter holiday. The ‘eggs-perience’ begins in the Galapagos where Easter coincides with the start of the hatching season for rare green sea turtles. From a new small luxury catamaran, the Athala II, guests spot and interact with extraordinary wildlife on a journey of a lifetime.

For those with a little more time, the adventure continues on to Easter Island or Rapa Nui, home of the famous Moai statues and the intrepid ‘bird-man’ cult – where youths swam shark filled waters and climbed high cliffs carrying an egg to win exclusive collection rights for their tribe. Today, visitors can explore Orongo and its museum to see the tiny stone houses that sheltered the competitors and hear more about rituals of the last indigenous tribe of the island.

One week on board the Athala II costs from £4995pp. A three-day, activity packed extension (with cultural tours, boat-trips, cycling and hiking) at 5* Posada de Mike Rapu additionally costs from £2495pp. Prices are based on 2 sharing, including international flights, all meals, selected drinks and tours: subject to availability, terms and conditions.Additional stopovers in Chile, Peru and Ecuador are available on request.

This sounds perfect! And what an experience it would be for the kids. not only luxury and activities but I think it’s so importnt to expose children (and adults too!) to different cultures from a young age. Is is possible to scuba dive and snorkell whilst touring the galapagos?

  2. Hi Jane!

Absolutely you can scuba and snorkel in the Galapagos! We actually work with the Galapagos Aggressors I & II (sister vessels) which are live-aboard diving boats (complete with a hot tub on the bow to really take in the view, or enjoy a drink after a days adventure!)

Here’s the link with more information http://www.adventuretemples.com/hotel-aggressor/ but as always we are more than happy to answer any questions on here, or if you want to give us a call!

Thanks again Jane, hope that helps.

    Best wishes, Jess
